At 19, He Filled an Event with 500 People
Another favorite chapter from our Senior Managing Director's story: age nineteen. Having left university, he and his friends launched a fashion event. In his words: "We thought about nothing difficult. We ran purely on 'love it' and 'fun.'" Five hundred people showed up — it even turned a profit.
That became his origin: enjoyment produces results. No business plan, no market analysis — yet five hundred moved. Coincidence? No. The heat of people genuinely enjoying themselves travels faster than any advertising; "those guys are up to something interesting" is an atmosphere money cannot buy.
Adults reverse the order — plan first, numbers first, fun later. His nineteen-year-old self proves fun is the first engine of attraction. How much "love it" remains in your work?
What do you work for?
