The Day We Built Our Factory in Kakegawa

In 2019 we built our own factory in Kakegawa, Shizuoka. Outsourcing keeps you light — no capital investment, no maintenance, no hiring. We built anyway, because I refused to entrust the heart of our manufacturing to others.

Owning a factory changes responsibility: with an external plant you can say "let me check with the factory"; with your own, there is nowhere to hide — and that produces true seriousness about quality. It also changes speed: a hundred-unit trial or a reformulation that takes months externally can start today in-house.

Every product born there ends as someone's smile. Owning that starting point is my pride.

What do you work for?
