Someday, Build a Town

Let me speak of our farthest dream: someday, we want to build a town. People gather from around the world; employment is born; people are paid, work together, and enjoy the town-building itself; the world's cultures arrive, mingle, and new culture is born. Why would a company build a town?

Because our purpose, pursued to its end, arrives there. Smiles delivered through products have a range; build the very place where people live, work, learn, and gather, and the kinds of smiles you can deliver multiply beyond measure.

Beauty, wellness, food, education, work, community — every business we have undertaken is, in truth, a component of a town. And as I have written, a town is not buildings but culture: what we wish to build is not real estate but a place where ways of living are passed on. An outrageous dream, I know.

But the future's time flows toward the present — and the blueprint is already being drawn.
