What I Learned at a Tokyo Stock Exchange Company
My product development experience earned me a place at a company listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. There I saw a world that runs not on individual hustle but on systems — for quality, approval, responsibility. Young me found it stifling at times.
But once I ran my own company, I understood: a company without systems dies when its founder falls. That "stifling" discipline was wisdom for lasting a hundred years. When we later aimed for Nasdaq — an examination of systems as much as passion — that chapter paid off. No chapter of a career is wasted.
